| Our 2006 Rimfire Colombard wine, a recent medal winner at the Queensland Wine Awards, is an excellent compliment to a full range of summer seafood dishes. With highlights of lime, kiwifruit, and the fresh, zingy aromas of grassiness and lemon zest found in the wine, you'll find the flavours are full, juicy, cool, and the piercing freshness is long-lived on the palate. Rimfire's 2006 Colombard really offers the essence of crisp summer pleasure. |

| Rimfire's new release 2007 Tinta, follows in the well defined footsteps of the Gold Medal winning 2006 vintage and is offering traditional Rosé lovers the same divine satisfaction as its predecessor. Tinta is a Wonderful wine for sipping on warm balmy evenings. Rimfire's Tinta is crafted in true traditional method. Careful juice management, with limited contact to the skins, gives the wine not only lovely fruit filled flavour, but also structure and tannin. This Rimfire rosé is a soft, easy-to-drink wine and is lovely served lightly chilled. |
| |
| For added spring time enjoyment we recommend a sip of Rimfire's Musqué, a medium dry wine made from wonderfully aromatic white grape varietal Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. |
| |
| Rimfire's new release 2007 Aleatico is another great medium-dry choice, with its delicate, spicy |
| |
perfume and a hint of salmon-pink colour derived from the dark skins of the berries. This wine really works well with Asian influenced and pork dishes. |
|
| |
Rimfire's Sangiovese is pleasingly typical of the Sangiovese style produced in Tuscany. Careful oak management has ensured the essential savoury Italian spice and earthy berry flavours shine through. Light and dry with spicy raspberry and blackberry characters, this wine shows vibrant fruit, integrated tannins and excellent length. A great red as the weather slowly warms or, alternatively, match this wine with Mediterranean-inspired cuisine for a great culinary combo.

| For a seriously sexy, fuller bodied red, firm Wine Club favourites are definitely Rimfire's Touriga Nacional and the outstandingly delicious Rimfire Ruby Cabernet both of which were recently well reviewed by James Halliday, Australia's most respected wine critic and wine writer. In his publication "Varietal Wines" Mr Halliday recommends Rimfire Winery as one of Australia's best producers of Ruby Cabernet, Touriga Nacional (and also Aleatico). |
| |
| |
Confirming this vote of excellence, Rimfire's 2005 Touriga Nacional just awarded a SILVER MEDAL, is a wine to watch out for. You can expect both Rimfire's Touriga Nacional and Rimfire's Ruby Cabernet to cellar well. So consider stocking up on |
